A wise man said,
The paradox of our time is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers.
We spend more but have less
We buy more but enjoy it less
We have wider freeways but narrower viewpoints.
We have bigger houses but smaller families
We have more degrees but less commonsense
We have more knowledge but less judgement
We have more Experts but more problems.
We drink too much, smoke too much
We have more medicine but less wellness
We spend too recklessly and talk too much
We laugh too little but get angry too quickly
We stay up too late, get up too tired.
We read too seldom and watch too much TV
We complain too much but pray too little.
We love seldom but hate too much.
We have multiplied our possessions but reduced our values
We have learned how to make a living but not how to live.
We have added years to our life but not life to our years.
